Swiss-Irish company Aryzta has appointed Chris Plüss as COO of its Asia Pacific/Middle East/Africa (APMEA) region, succeeding Rob O’Boyle.
The former regional managing director for Southern Europe (Switzerland, France and Hungary) will commence his new role in early June 2020, the Cuisine de France owner said.
Plüss joined Aryzta in 2014 as MD of Switzerland and was promoted to MD for Southern Europe (Switzerland, France, Hungary) in March 2018.
Prior to joining the speciality baker, he worked in Unilever, Haco Group and Fressnapf/Maxizoo.
"He has a proven track record in Aryzta and strong commercial, business development and leadership skills," commented Kevin Toland, Group CEO Aryzta.
Plüss holds an MBA from the University of Berne.
