Guinness Storehouse has teamed up with Aungier Danger to create a unique festive donut to pair with Guinness Draught in celebration of St.Patrick's Day.
The limited edition cake is available exclusively at the Guinness Storehouse on 17 March as part of its 2017 festival.
Seemingly, the unique donut is the result of a collaboration between the Guinness Storehouse beer specialist team and Phil Costello, founder of the Dublin bakery Aungier Danger. The Belgian chocolate filled donut, with a blackcurrant glaze 'delivers a balance of sweetness and distinctive bitterness which mirrors the flavor of hops found in Guinness Draught'.
Celebrating its eleventh year, the four-day festival kicks off today (16 March) and will run until Sunday, 19 March.
Announcing the festival programme, Paul Carty, managing director, Guinness Storehouse said, “The St. Patrick’s Day Festival at the Guinness Storehouse once again has an amazing line-up of entertainment and unique experiences. Guinness, the iconic black and white stout, has an intrinsic link to St. Patrick’s Day."
In keeping with a long held tradition at the Guinness Storehouse Patricks, Patricias, Paddys, Pedros and Podges, or variants of the name, will receive complimentary admission on March 17th.
