Bord na Móna has announced the appointment of a new managing director, Mike Quinn, who will take up his position on January 2nd.
Quinn joins Bord na Móna from Precision Castparts (PCC), where he has worked for the last 10 years as Vice President of a worldwide group of 5 companies. Prior to joining PCC Mike held various senior management positions in Tellabs, Stryker and Lufthansa Tecknik.
“The Board is delighted to welcome someone of Mike’s calibre to the company as he brings with him a wealth of domestic and international leadership and business experience, gained across a number of different industries," said Bord na Móna chairman John Horgan.
“I have every confidence that Mike will successfully lead the company and drive its growth and development strategy in the months and years ahead.”
