The Coca-Cola Company has announced that Petre Șandru has been appointed Country Manager of Coca-Cola Ireland, according to a statement it issued today (22 February).
Șandru will lead the Irish team as it supports the growth of each brand in its portfolio by 'developing and implementing well-defined business strategies'.
Jon Woods, General Manager, Coca-Cola UK & Ireland said “We are delighted to welcome Petre Șandru to Ireland, where he will lead a talented team of people working on marketing our brands, including Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and new Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. He will also work closely with our bottling partner, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, with whom we continue to make significant investments throughout the island of Ireland. Petre has 12 years of experience within Coca-Cola. Initially he was Brand Manager and then moved on to become Commercial Director for Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Albania and later Country Manager for Romania & Moldova.

Petre replaces Aedamar Howlett, who was recently appointed as Marketing Director of Coca-Cola’s UK and Irish operations.
