As well as the brands Alsa and Moench, the acquisition also includes an Alsa production site in Ludres, in the Lorraine region.

The transaction was closed after consultation with all relevant employee representatives and approval by the competition authorities.

A Perfect Fit

"This acquisition fits in with the company's growth strategy and the products complement Dr.  Oetker France very well," said Didier Muller managing director of Dr. Oetker France.

The acquisition will drive the future growth of this traditional French brand, Dr. Oetker said in its statement.
