An Applegreen and Spar store in Irishtown, Kilkenny, sold a rare ‘white’ crème egg this week.
The transaction landed the lucky customer €10,000, thanks to Cadbury’s current Hunt the White Egg campaign.
John Eivers, the proprietor of the Applegreen and Spar store, was delighted to see the lucky egg sold in his store.
'Absolutely Delighted'
“We’re absolutely delighted Ciara has won €10,000 in the hunt for the Cadbury’s white creme egg. Ciara is a regular customer who visits our shop almost every day and we couldn’t be happier for her and her family,” Eivers said.
“It’s great to see it won in Spar Irishtown, where we’re always proactive in pushing customer special offers and supplier competitions in the hope that one of our regular customers would win a prize, so this is a super result for all the team.”
Eivers is a member of the Convenience Stores and Newsagents Association, which was quick to congratulate Eivers and his team.
The Cadbury Crème Egg hunt runs until April 21st.
