East Coast Bakehouse, has reportedly posted a €4.8 million loss in its last financial year, according to it's newly filed accounts.
It brought its accumulated losses in the 12 months to the end of February last year to €12.2 million, reports the Irish Independent.
Based in Drogheda, the company was established in 2015 by Michael Carey and his wife former 'Dragons Den' investor Alison Cowzer.
It's range of cookies launched nationwide across the ROI in 2016 and has since launched into the UK.
The biscuit baking company produces in the region of 20,000 tonnes of biscuits per annum.
