Fibre One, the 90 calories snack bar, is now available in Ireland in two flavours – Chocolate Fudge Brownie, a high fibre chocolate brownie with fudge pieces, and Lemon Drizzle Squares that combine a soft, moist texture with a tart and tangy flavour.
Grainne Galvin, Fibre One Brand Manager commented, "We are delighted with the reaction to Fibre One since launching this week."
She added that parent company General Mills was excited to launch a product on the Irish market to satisfy sweet snack cravings, while addressing consumer health concerns.
"We really felt there was a gap in the market for something like this – a product that sits in the biscuit aisle and allows Irish women to have what they crave."
Each Fibre One bar contains only 90 calories and 5g of fibre (20% RDA), with the multipack format now on sale in biscuit aisles in Tesco and Dunnes stores for a RRP of €3.99.
