Sports nutrition brand, For Goodness Shakes has been named as one of the main sponsors of the upcoming Hell & Back event – billed as one of Ireland’s toughest physical and mental endurance challenges.
Hell & Back has been designed as a challenge rather than a race, and for many people, is set to be the toughest physical and mental activity they have ever attempted. Aurivo Co-op says this is why its For Goodness Shakes brand is an ideal fit, as it offers products that help deliver cutting edge performance, and aid recovery.
Speaking about the Hell & Back partnership, Evelyn Garland, For Goodness Shakes sales developer said, "We’re really excited to be part of Hell & Back. It’s the perfect fit for our sports nutrition range, which helps energise, repair and rebuild after sport.
"For Goodness Shakes will be the best recovery for those who make it through the gruelling 12km and 7km route, which includes numerous natural and man-made obstacles."
This year’s Hell & Back is expected to attract more than 21,000 participants, who will face a series of challenges, from crossing lakes and swamps, to getting past manmade obstacles. These include two specially designed electric shock obstacles, courtesy of For Goodness Shakes.
Hell & Back Apollo takes place at Killruddery Estate in Bray, Co. Wicklow across 25 and 26 June. At the same venue on 10 September is Hell & Back Titan, while Hell & Back Hercules will be hosted on 8 October at Temple House in Co. Sligo.
