Fyffes has announced today (3 August) that it will open pop up kitchens across the country to raise funds for new multisensory equipment at Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
The kitchen will serve frozen banana-pops, with melted chocolate and a variety of toppings and 'all discretionary donations received will go directly to the hospital'
Denise Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Temple Street Foundation said, "The funds raised will help us purchase multi-sensory equipment that is used by patients of all ages for relaxation, stimulation and stress release.
"Our heartfelt thanks to Fyffes for all their work on behalf of sick children in Temple Street.”
The Fruit importer pop up kitchens will feature at events in six locations across Dublin, Cork, Galway and Wicklow, over the coming weeks.
