Golden Bake Launches Fresh New Look For Its Frozen Bakery Range

Golden Bake has launched a brand-new look for its frozen bakeables range.

Established in 1987, Golden Bake has evolved into one of Ireland’s largest frozen bakeries, specialising in puff pastry and cookie products from its site in Coolock, Dublin.

It is the home of Ireland’s favourite puff pastry crowns, Jambons®, as well as other iconic products, such as sausage rolls, apple lattices, and soft-centred cookies.

‘Sustainability At The Forefront’

Golden Bake CEO Robin Jones commented, “We designed the new retail packaging with sustainability at the forefront.

“We are delighted to have achieved over a 50% reduction in packaging, without compromising the product, which remains the exact same.”

Collaborating with Bord Bia and Neworld on the rebrand, one of the key roles of the new packaging was to call out the quality Irish ingredients that are used to make Golden Bake’s iconic products, as well as the calories per product on the front of the pack.

In addition, it has included air fryer cooking instructions as the main cooking guidelines on the back of the pack, with traditional oven cooking instructions remaining on the side of the pack.

The rebranded retail range has something for everyone, from classic puff pastry Jambons®, both large and mini, to delicious Irish pork mini sausage rolls.

Whether you’re craving a midday snack or looking to get the family through that after-school hunger rush, Golden Bake has something for every occasion.

With convenience always in mind, the range can be baked in minutes from the air fryer or oven.

Golden Bake hopes that this new, cohesive packaging will encourage new consumers to try the brand and discover the taste, convenience and quality of its products as a leading Irish frozen-food brand.

Advertising Campaign

To support the launch of the rebrand, Golden Bake will be unveiling its first major OOH advertising campaign, as well as in-store promotions.

From bus T-sides to nationwide billboards, the launch of this campaign kicks off in early October.

With innovation, quality and convenience underpinning Golden Bake’s new packaging launch, the Irish-owned and -operated business is proud and excited to see this change hitting shelves from this month across retailers nationwide.

This rebrand comes as Golden Bake was voted the number-one brand in the Frozen Savoury Products category of the Checkout and Nielsen IQ Top 100 Brands report for 2024.
