Java Republic Takes Top Food & Drink Prize At SFA Awards

Coffee brand Java Republic has taken the top prize in the Food & Drink category at the SFA's Small Firms Awards, which took place last night (3 March) at Dublin's RDS.

Grace O’Shaughnessy, Managing Director of Java Republic said, "We are very proud of this award and honoured to be on such an impressive winners list.

"We’ve weathered some very tough times through hard work and steely determination, but we are now at a very exciting stage in the economy."

Last year was a significant one for the coffee business, as it secured a contract with Aer Lingus to provide freshly brewed coffee on-board its European flights, and seven of its products were winners in The Great Taste Awards 2015.

Shaughnessy was also nominated in both The Women Mean Business Awards and the Image Businesswoman of the Year Awards.
