Johnston Mooney & O’Brien Recalls Products Due To Metal

Johnston Mooney & O’Brien has recalled its bread products, as 'there is a very small risk that some may contain small pieces of metal.'

The company said that as a precautionary measure, it is undertaking a recall of all bread products with a best Before Date of 11 February 2018, and 'if they wish' to return the product to their local retailer for a refund.

It outlined that no bun or roll products are affected.

In a statement, the bread makers said: "Any potentially affected packs have been removed from the supermarket shelves in co-operation with the retail trade and any that were in the distribution system have been recalled by the company."

It said that customers can send the empty packaging with their name and address for a full refund to: Johnston Mooney & O’Brien 11 Jamestown Road, Finglas, Dublin 11.
