Dublin-based Keogh’s Farm has been announced as a winner in two categories at the Irish Quality Food Awards this year. The potato and crisp producer was awarded for its Sweet Chilli and Red Pepper hand-cooked crisps in the ‘Bagged Snacks’ category while their Easy Cook 7 Minute New Baby Potatoes took home the prize in the ‘Fresh Produce – Vegetables’ category.
Tom Keogh, general manager of Keogh’s Farm, says they are thrilled to have not just one, but two of their homegrown products named winners by the Irish Quality Food Award judges. He said, “At our family farm, we’re always working hard to produce the best goods for our consumers and it’s really encouraging that our Easy Cook 7 Minute New Baby Potatoes and our Sweet Chilli and Red Pepper crisps are worthy of such awards. Down through the years we’ve really listened to our customers and have strived to produce and develop meal additions and tasty snacks to suit their lifestyles and everyday needs.”
The Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards were held in the Mansion House in Dublin over the weekend and sets out to recognise excellence in product development for food and drink producers, retailers and catering companies in Ireland, with Q Awards being awarded across 50 different categories.
