The latest Posterwatch report from PML Group has found that Lucozade was the biggest spender on Outdoor advertising in April, accounting for €363k worth of spend in the period.
Kenco Millicano was the second biggest spender on Outdoor, the study found, accounting for €298k worth of spend for its 'Sunlight Blend' campaign, with Brennan's Bread in third, accounting for €264k worth of spend. HB Magnum (€260k worth of spend) and Ribena (€248k worth of spend) rounded off the top five.
The figures in the Posterwatch report are based on published media owner rate cards, and refer to display values only. Telecoms company 48 accounted for the highest Outdoor spend in the period, at €413k.
In total, the Food sector accounted for €1.13 million worth of spend during the period, however the Retail and Beers & Ciders sectors surpassed this, accounting for €1.24 million and €1.16 million worth of spend respectively.
FMCG brands accounted for six of the top ten Outdoor advertisers in April, the study found.
