Procter & Gamble has appointed Dimpco as its official distributor for Oral B and Braun products in Ireland in electrical trade channels.
Dimpco, part of the Glen Dimplex Group, has operated in Ireland for over 40 years, and already distributes leading brands including Dimplex, Morphy Richards, Belling and Roberts.
Commenting on the deal, P&G Ireland Country Manager, David Cotter said, “This is a significant step forward in our efforts to grow our portfolio of market leading brands in all trade channels in Ireland. Working with Dimpco will allow us to forge strategic partnerships with electricals channel leaders in these high value categories. “Oral B currently has a 90% market share in power toothbrushes in Ireland while Braun is a global leader in male shavers and female epilators. Partnering these brands with Dimpco’s electrical channel expertise and first-class retail and customer service operations is a clear signal of our intent to invest in our brands and grow our business across all trade channels in Ireland.”
