Bisto owner Premier Foods has announced the appointment of Duncan Leggett as the new chief financial officer of the company.
Leggett joins the Board following an executive search process and his appointment takes place with immediate effect, the British food manufacturer said in a statemnet.
Leggett joined Premier Foods in 2011, becoming a member of the Executive Leadership Team on his appointment as Acting CFO in August earlier this year.
'Added Business Continuity'
Prior to this, he was director of financial control and corporate development, having previously held a number of senior roles within finance, including group financial controller.
"Duncan's extensive technical knowledge and experience of our business make him an invaluable member of our executive leadership team, " said Alex Whitehouse, chief executive, Premier Foods.
"With this added business continuity, I look forward to continuing our work together as we increase our pace of delivery and ever sharpen our consumer, customer and operational focus."
Before joining Premier Foods, Duncan spent nine years at KPMG working with clients across a variety of industries.
As one of Britain’s biggest listed food companies, the company employs over 4,000 at 15 manufacturing sites and offices, throughout the uk.
