Rose Confectionery has announced a collaboration with Club – a Britvic label – that will see ambient ice pops sold in popular flavours.
The new Club Eezy Freezzy Squeezee Ice Pops are made with fruit juice from concentrate, natural colours and natural flavours. They are suitable for gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal diets.
Available in three classic Club flavours – orange, lemon, and rock shandy – the ice pops’ unique ambient offering means that retailers will not need to use freezer space to stock them.
The ice pops are in an ambient pack, so they can be kept in the kitchen and frozen as needed, offering a perfect product in changeable summer weather.
The assorted bag of ten 50ml freeze pops will be available to buy from Tesco, local convenience stores, and directly from Rose Confectionery.
The new product is expected to be especially popular with children, and is therefore a must-stock for convenience retailers this summer.
‘Savour Every Moment’
Speaking about the new product, the head of sales, Ireland, at Rose Confectionery, Neidra Lenehan, said, “This new range will really appeal to retailers, as it can be displayed in the ambient section of the store, and not take up precious freezer space.
“Having said that, to maximise sales during the summer months, retailers could also dually site the product within the frozen aisles.
“This is a great time for retailers to consider a proven and popular product offer that has great consumer appeal, especially one that is backed by a hugely respected and trusted brand like Club.
“The range has also been carefully priced to be an affordable option that won’t burn a hole in the shopping budget.”
The marketing manager at Club, Patriece Dwyer, also commented on the launch, saying, “We’re thrilled to unveil this exciting innovation in partnership with Rose Confectionery.
“The collaboration underscores our commitment to providing customers with innovative and enjoyable experiences, and we can’t wait for our consumers to savour every moment with our freeze pops.”
