Shop Equipment Limited (SEL) has recently won two gold gongs, at the 2019 POPAI Awards, which took place recently in the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park, London.
"The first category we were nominated for was Entertainment & Leisure, and at the end, it was our Irish Times Acrylic Newspaper Tower with the iconic Tara Street clock that took the Gold Award," said Martin Hendricken Sales Manager, SEL.
"The next category that we were nominated for was Short Run Permanent Display.
"Again, we were fortunate enough to collect the Gold Award for our Heineken Zero Zone shelving unit with incorporated refrigerator!"
Best of the Best
This year's event, which was attended by in the region of 500 attendees, celebrates the 'best of the best' in British and Irish design.
POPAI UK and Ireland is a non-profit organisation which services all aspects of the retail industry and is a part of the global Shop! Network, and conduct international research on consumer habits, preferences and trends.
"We jumped in a plane, donned our tuxes and gowns, and eagerly awaited the announcements." He added.
"Altogether, it was an excellent evening showcasing the high industry standard of work, all brought together and orchestrated by POPA UK & Ireland. We are delighted with the results, and are looking to carry this momentum forward into the New Year. Watch this space!"
