Taste of Dublin has announced its line-up for 2019 and has confirmed that it is returning to the Iveagh Gardens on the 13 - 16 June.
“Over the past 14 years, Taste of Dublin has championed Irish Chefs, restaurants and artisan producers who put Dublin on the international culinary map," Avril Bannerton, managing director of Taste of Dublin said.
This years festival sponsor NEFF are hosting the NEFF Taste Kitchen which will feature cooking demos from a number of household name chefs, such as Kevin Dundon, Paul Kelly, Ed Cooney, Clodagh McKenna and Rory O’Connell to name but a few.
"This year we are championing the evolving Irish dining experience, the revolutionary new menus and the new dynamic chefs that are changing perceptions of Irish food and the Irish menu.”Bannerton addded.
Mastercard have partnered with Taste of Dublin 2019 to provide contactless payments for attendees who can use their chip and pin cards, throughout the festival. Also, Just Eat will be offering their services over the course of the few days.
Highlights
Highlights over the course of the festival include wine tasting with O’Briens Wine; Lindt Master Chocolatiers will be giving a demonstration as well as sampling their truffles, The VIP Lounge at Taste will make a return and the Taste Marketplace will offer attendees the opportunity to sample new artisan produce plus lots more.
In the region of 32,000 people are reportedly expected to attend over the four days.
