Cork-based food business, The Farmer’s Table has announced that its products are now available nationwide, having been listed in 221 SuperValu stores and selected Centra outlets in Munster.
The company has been working with SuperValu since 2014, and has recently graduated from the retailer’s Food Academy programme, which is run in association with Bord Bia.
“Hopefully securing this deal will mean that we can continue to grow our business, creating more jobs here at our production facility and also indirectly by supporting local suppliers,” the company commented.
The brand recently picked up a silver medal at Bank of Ireland Startup Awards 2015 for Food & Drink Entrepreneurial Start-up of the Year, and has recently expanded its line of ready-made baked potatoes to a wide range of potato-based dishes.
