SIPTU and Unite trade unions have reportedly issued strike notice on Mondelez Ireland, following the company's decision to implement a Labour Court recommendation that had been rejected by union members.
RTE reports that the strike will commence next Thursday at the group's Coolock facility.
The Labour Court recommendations include the outsourcing of the work of 17 employees based in the stores operation, according to RTE.
Between them, SIPTU and Unite represent around 350 of the 900 workers employed at the Coolock facility.
