O Brother Brewing is expanding its partnership with Aldi Ireland, as it launches its new Nasc Session IPA exclusively with the retailer.
The independent craft brewery developed the beer in collaboration with retailer, and it is now available in all 161 Aldi stores in Ireland.
The deal marks a significant milestone for the independent craft brewery’s growth strategy.
It aims to reach €3.5 million in revenue over the next three years.
It also builds on the company’s relationship with Aldi, which began in 2022, through Grow with Aldi.
As part of the initiative, O Brother Brewing launched two of its core beers across Aldi stores nationwide.
Brewed with 100% Irish barley malt and oats, Nasc is a 4.0% ABV session IPA packed with citrus and tropical hop flavours, for a refreshing, easy-drinking experience.
The name of the beer, which means ‘bond’ or ‘connection’ in Irish, reflects the brewer’s mission to create unique and authentic connections through its community of beer enthusiasts.
‘Strength To Strength’
Speaking about the new deal, the chief executive and co-founder of O Brother Brewing, Barry O’Neill, said, “Our time on the Grow with Aldi programme was a pivotal point in our story.
“Having access to the Aldi network allowed us to reach more craft beer fans than ever before.
“The fact that Aldi wants to expand our relationship with this exclusive launch is an incredible vote of confidence in our brand and the quality of our beer – and now with Nasc, we’ve combined Aldi’s customer insights and our brewing expertise to create a delicious session IPA that celebrates connections and discovering something new together.”
The buying director at Aldi Ireland, Rachael O Connor, added, “We started working with O Brother Brewing through the Grow with Aldi programme, and it was clear from the outset that the team have an outstanding vision for their products and brand.
“We’ve watched their business go from strength to strength since then, and we’re excited to bring Nasc to our customers.
“O Brother Brewing is a fantastic example of a small Irish company understanding the market and its customers and focusing on bringing those two things together.”
