C&C Group has made a series of alterations to its board to kick off the new year, DrinksRetailing reported this week.
The Bulmers-maker announced that John Gibney has stepped down as non-executive director of the group, with effect from 13 January 2025.
New non-executive director Feargal O’Rourke will succeed Gibney as chair of the audit committee.
Additionally, current company secretary and group general counsel Mark Chilton has announced his upcoming retirement on 31 August 2025.
As a result, Gillian Kyle will step into the role of company secretary, moving from her current position as deputy-company secretary.
Kyle previously worked in the Weir Group before joining C&C in 2023.
CEO
Ralph Findlay will return to his role as non-executive char from 1 March 2025 following his stint as interim CEO.
Findlay stepped into the CEO role following the sudden resignation of Patrick McMahon in June 2024, after one year in the role.
Roger White will join the business as CEO on 20 January 2025, and there will be a short period of transition before Findlay returns to his previous role in March.
Findlay will also resume the role of chair of the nomination committee.
Speaking about the changes, Findlay said, “On behalf of the company and the board, I would like to thank John for his significant contribution to C&C during his tenure with the business.
“We wish John every success for the future and are delighted to welcome Feargal to the role of audit committee chair.
“I would also like to thank Mark for his dedication and commitment to the business over the last six years with the group.
“We wish him well in his retirement later this year and look forward to Gillian supporting the board as company secretary.”
