Clonmel 1650, a lager distributed by C&C Group plc, has been awarded with one of the top awards at the International Brewing Awards. The lager won the International Keg Lager Gold Medal at the prestigious awards, which are over 120 years old.
This year’s panel comprised of 43 of the world’s leading judges and was held at the National Brewery Centre in Burton-upon-Trent, where they assessed almost 1000 beers and ciders submitted from 50 countries around the world. All judges on the panel currently work as either brewers or code makers.
