Coca-Cola was the biggest spender on Outdoor advertising in the Food & Drink category in December, according to the latest Posterwatch report from PML Group.
The drinks brand accounted for €624k worth of outdoor spend in December, according to the report. In second place, 7Up Free accounted for €522k worth of spend.
Between them, Coca-Cola and 7Up Free accounted for more Outdoor spend than the rest of the top ten put together. In third place, Nescafé Gold Blend accounted for €260k worth of spend, followed by Barry's Tea (€210k) and Kellogg's Corn Flakes (€150k).
Heineken was the biggest spender on Outdoor advertising in the Alcoholic Beverages sector, accounting for €255k worth of spend, followed by Carlsberg (€225k worth of spend).
The figures used to compile the Posterwatch report are based on published Media Owner rate cards and refer to display values only.
In total, the Food category accounted for €683k worth of Outdoor spend in the period, with the Soft Drinks sector accounting for €1.2m, the Beers & Ciders market accounting for €727k and the Wines & Spirits market accounting for €658k.
