Diageo Ireland recently announced the appointment of Colin Green to the role of on-trade director for the Republic of Ireland.
This news follows the recent move of Annmarie Phillips to the position of operations director, Shieldhall packaging site in the International Supply Centre.
In a statement the drinks giant outlined that over the past six years Green has been a key member of the Diageo Ireland Leadership team, firstly as head of innovation and more recently as customer marketing director where one of his key roles has been to lead the commercialisation strategy of innovation brands, such as Hop House 13, Rockshore and Roe&Co.
"Colin is known for his passion in unlocking new commercial opportunities, and we’re really looking forward to him bringing this to the fore in his new role,” said Oliver Loomes, country director, Diageo Ireland.
He began his career in the On Trade in Northern Ireland, moving to manage national On Trade accounts, before moving into Take Home Trade where he managed key customers in Northern Ireland, the Route to Market channels and then took on the role of Channel Controller for the Take Home Trade there.
