Diageo Reserve is the best-selling spirits collection in the world’s best bars according to the recently published Drinks International Brands Report, with multiple brands prevailing across key categories.
Every year the world’s best bars and spirits experts select the best-selling and top-trending brands across the world for the report, which gives a strong indication of how brands are positioned amongst those at the top of the international drinks community.
Top-trending Spirits
According to the report, Ketel One remains the #1 bestselling vodka, remaining in this position for the 7th year in a row. Ketel One is also listed as the #1 top trending vodka for the 5th year in a row. This achievement comes as no surprise considering the 325+ years of distilling experience that has gone into every bottle, with the Nolet family at the helm of this award-winning distillery based in the Schiedam, the Netherlands.
Tanqueray has successfully remained within top two Bestselling gins of 2019. This is the 7th year in a row that the world class premium gin has been featured amongst the top gin brands. An expected reflection of the brands popularity, considering it is the only gin to be inducted to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition Hall of Fame.
Don Julio Tequila is the #1 best-selling tequila for the 4th year in a row and one of the top-trending tequilas. Don Julio is named after its founder Don Julio González-Frausto Estrada. With his attention to detail and passion for tequila that pours into every bottle, it is clear to see why the liquid has remained in this premium position for the last number of years.
‘All-Time League’
Allied to this, Tanqueray Gin, Johnnie Walker and Don Julio Tequila were all catalogued as the top brands in their respective categories, within the ‘All-Time League’ which is a newly introduced section to the Drinks International Brand Report. The section details consistently high performing brands using 10 years of historical data.
