Premium Irish liqueur-maker Five Farms has won Best Cream Liqueur at the 2024 ASCOT – American Spirits Council of Tasters – Awards.
The West Cork liqueur was awarded a double-platinum medal for the sweet, fresh-tasting and decadently delicious product at the international spirits competition.
The International ASCOT Awards were created by spirits personality and veteran tasting judge Fred Minnick.
Made with fresh Irish cream from five family-owned farms along the Wild Atlantic Way in West Cork, Five Farms takes its name therefrom.
It prides itself on using fresh and local ingredients to create an indulgent and delicious Irish cream liqueur drink, to be enjoyed over ice.
Five Farms’ co-founder Johnny Harte said, “We are delighted to have won this award, and to get global recognition for Five Farms.
“It’s our first year winning in the Best Cream Liqueur category, so it is extra sweet, and one we hope to build on, year after year.
“It’s a testament to the taste, quality and provenance of Five Farms.”
The ASCOT Awards recognise all aspects of the spirits industry and are essentially split into two competitions: taste, as well as marketing and design.
The award win marks a busy period for the Five Farms brand, as it attended the 18th annual Bord Bia Bloom festival in the wake of its victory.
