The Guinness Storehouse, Ireland's leading visitor attraction, saw a record number of visitors pour through its gates in 2013, with over 1.15 million visiting the Dublin landmark over the past 12 months.
Paul Carty, Managing Director of Guinness Storehouse, was delighted with the record breaking numbers, commenting; “We have experienced our best year to date at Guinness Storehouse, breaking all of our previous records.
"Not only did we welcome more visitors than ever before at the Home of Guinness to coincide with the year of The Gathering, we also hosted an array of high profile guests, unveiled the world’s most unique and innovative Guinness tasting experience ‘The Tasting Rooms’ and redesigned our new flagship retail store, part of our three year €10 million investment plan.”
93% of visitors to the Guinness Storehouse in 2013 were international, with visitors from the USA, UK, France Germany and Italy making up the top 5 visiting nationalities to have enjoyed a pint in the Gravity bar.
