The 19th New Zealand Annual Trade Tasting is set to take place this Thursday, January 21, at the Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place in Dublin, where New Zealand producers will showcase wine from across the nation’s diverse regions.
All of the wines that will be shown at the event have been produced sustainably, which according to New Zealand Winegrowers means “delivering excellent wine to consumers in a way that enables the natural environment, and the businesses and communities involved, to thrive.”
This year’s tasting include a self our table of barrel and oak-influenced Sauvignon Blanc, while the Irish Times’ John Wilson will also be hosting a masters class on the iconic grape from 1 pm to 2 pm.
Participating wineries this year include Allan Scott Family, Babich Wines, Cloudy Bay and Lawsons Dry Hills Wines.
Trade tasting takes place from 2 pm to 6 pm, while a consumer tasting session, the New Zealand Wine Tiki Tour, will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Tickets are available at Eventbrite
