O Brother Announces New Listing With Tesco Ireland

O Brother Brewing, one of Ireland's fastest-growing independent craft breweries, has launched four of its award-winning beers in 78 Tesco stores across Ireland this autumn.

The brewery is expecting to deliver almost 200,000 cans in the first year.

'Unique And Flavourful Beers'

“We are thrilled to partner with O Brother Brewing to bring their innovative and high-quality beers to our stores," said Kern Kinnear, head of beers, wines and spirits at Tesco Ireland.

"Their dedication to crafting exceptional beers aligns perfectly with our commitment to offering our customers the best locally-produced products.

"We look forward to seeing our customers enjoy these unique and flavourful beers.”

'Core 4'

The 'Core 4' beers that are now available in Tesco include The Chancer, a fresh Pale Ale; The Dreamcatcher, a New England Style Session IPA; The Sinner, an American-style IPA; and The Nightcrawler, a rich Milk Stout.

O Brother Brewing has partnered with Galway artist Shane O'Malley to create the unique can labels.

'Our Journey'

“This move showcases the anticipated demand and popularity of our beers," said Barry O’Neill, CEO and co-founder of O Brother Brewing.

"Our mission is to make great, fresh Irish beer available to consumers everywhere they wish to experience it and this partnership with Tesco gives us another opportunity to reach a wider craft drinker and bring them with us on our journey.”

Business Development

O Brother Brewing announced an investment round and a move to a new brewery and visitor centre at the Belmont Demesne earlier this year.

This is the first time the four core beers will be available in a major supermarket.
