Craft brewery, O Brother Brewing from Co. Wicklow is following in the footsteps of fellow Irish beer makers, such as Eight Degrees, White Hag and Trouble Brewing, by turning to crowdfunding to raise capital to grow its business.
With Ireland's craft beer sector continuing to see strong growth, an increasing number of breweries are looking towards crowdfunding platforms in a bid to finance their expansion.
Currently, O Brother Brewing is projecting sales of over €300,000 for 2016, and hopes to raise €20,000 by the start of May to help take it to the next level.
LinkedFinance, one of Ireland's largest lending platforms, has already helped it reach 66% of its funding goal.
