Rockshore Announces Four-Year Partnership With League Of Ireland

Rockshore is joining forces with the League of Ireland in a game-changing four-year partnership, kicking off in January 2025.

The partnership will see Rockshore become the official beer, and Rockshore 0.0 the official alcohol-free beer, of the League of Ireland.

It will encompass the men’s and women’s game, reflecting a shared ambition to champion the growth of the League of Ireland across the country and elevate the fan experience.

As proud Irish brands, Rockshore and the League of Ireland are committed to creating engaging football moments that put loyal fans at the heart of the action.

The partnership comes after a stellar year for Rockshore, including the launch of Rockshore 0.0.

As the League of Ireland’s official non-alcoholic beer partner, Rockshore is reinforcing its commitment to responsible drinking, ensuring that fans can enjoy the match responsibly, whatever they drink.

It has also been an incredible year for the League of Ireland, with extraordinary title races, unprecedented progress in Europe, and a fan base that continues to grow through soaring attendance and TV viewership figures.

The recent BDO League of Ireland economic assessment report – which highlighted the €164.7 million that the league contributed to the Irish economy – demonstrates the potential for the domestic game to develop further, and the opportunity to welcome even more supporters through the gates and into pubs around the country to watch the magic of the League of Ireland.

‘Raising A Pint’

Speaking about the partnership, the head of beer at Diageo Ireland, Anne Zahan, said, “This is truly an exciting time for the League of Ireland, and Rockshore is thrilled to be part of the journey.

“Through this partnership, we are committed to investing in the passion of fans across the country.

The director of the League of Ireland, Mark Scanlon, added, “We are delighted to welcome Rockshore to the League of Ireland and very excited about collaborating with the Rockshore team over the next four years to promote and grow two Irish brands.

“Working closely with our clubs, we’ll create an even more vibrant and engaging experience for fans, ensuring that League of Ireland football continues to thrive.”

Seán Kavanagh, commercial director at the FAI, said, “This new partnership is an exciting opportunity for the continued development of the League of Ireland.

“We’re delighted to partner with such an industry-leading brand in Rockshore and are really excited by the plans that the team at Rockshore have, as it has been clear that we share the same ambition in developing the league here.”
