Rockshore has announced that Rudimental will launch its new bank holiday experience – Rockshore Après Sea – on Portmarnock Beach this weekend.
The group, known for its hits, such as ‘Feel the Love’, and high-energy DJ sets around the world, will host a set to celebrate the spirit of the long weekend on the coast.
Inspired by après-ski parties, after a day of skiing is finished, Rockshore’s Après Sea offers a refreshingly Irish twist.
An early-evening ticketed pop-up experience at brilliant coastal locations, Après Sea provides the perfect soundtrack to your May bank holiday weekend from world-class DJs.
On Sunday 5 May at the White Sands Hotel in Portmarnock, Rudimental will headline a packed line-up.
Other acts performing include UK broadcaster and DJ Jaguar, who was named by Mixmag as one of its breakthrough DJs of 2023, and Irish dance music tastemaker Dave Treacy.
‘Irish Crowds Are Always Amazing’
Speaking about the event, Rudimental said, “We can’t wait to return to Ireland and headline Rockshore’s first-ever Après Sea event.
“The Irish crowds are always amazing. They love their dance music!
“We’re looking forward to playing a special DJ set in this exciting new space, to help everyone celebrate the long weekend!”
Anne Zahan, head of beer at Diageo Ireland, added, “Rockshore was born on the coast of Ireland, and, as such, we are committed to protecting it – in a way that’s refreshingly Irish.
“Ticket proceeds for Après Sea will be donated to the charity Flossie and The Beach Cleaners, supporting their invaluable beach-cleaning efforts to safeguard and champion Ireland’s coasts.”
Zahan concluded, “This summer is going to be bigger than ever for Rockshore, and we can’t wait to make each one of the bank holidays in the year weekends to remember.”
Tickets for the event are €15 and can be purchased here, on Eventbrite.
Doors for the event open at 3.30pm, and it runs from 4pm to 8pm.
The event is strictly for over-18s.
