Roe & Co Whiskey has teamed up with three local restaurants for a summer whiskey- and food-pairing experience.
In June, Roe & Co’s Summer Garden will feature Crudo, with its Mediterranean-focused menu, followed by Órale’s vibrant Mexican-inspired cooking in July, and, finally, Hakkahan’s modern Chinese menu in August.
These pop-ups mark the start of the Roe & Co Summer Garden 2023, a whiskey- and food-pairing experience previously known as D-8TE that has been running for three years.
Taking place on the outdoor patio at the Roe & Co distillery, diners should anticipate innovative dishes with everything from Goatsbridge trout ’nduja and marinated heirloom tomatoes to handmade spicy Sichuan dumplings and zingy sea bream ceviche tostadas.
Restaurant Rotation
Rotating monthly, each pop-up partner will launch a four-course menu, reimagining its food offerings to pair with Roe & Co cocktails.
The summer series takes pride in showcasing the versatility of Roe & Co whiskey and how its cocktails complement some of the most exciting food on the Dublin scene.
About The Restaurants
Crudo – the recent winner of the Best Casual Dining Award at the 2023 Irish Restaurant Awards – is a neighbourhood seafood restaurant inspired by Mediterranean fare and lifestyles.
Fresh Irish ingredients paired with Mexican influences are the star of the show for Órale, a nomadic kitchen set up by Ian Cairns in 2019.
Hakkahan’s literal translation means ‘man from Hakka’, which is the region in China from where owner Ryon Wen hails, while Hakkahan’s chef, Qiang Liu, is from Sichuan Province.
