Smirnoff continues to champion inclusivity and provoke mainstream culture with its ‘We’re Open’ campaign by launching a collaboration with Panti Bliss, Ireland’s foremost drag queen, performer and activist.
Following a number of successful chapters to date in the We’re Open campaign which have included Pride, bringing Voguing to Ireland, collaborating with Deaf Dance Teacher Chris Fonseca, and the recent launch featuring Swedish-Iranian hip-hop artist Nadia Tehran, Smirnoff is now shining a light on local legend Panti Bliss who shares her experiences of inclusivity in Irish culture.
“This is a really exciting time in Ireland and I’m proud to share my story and experiences as part of Smirnoff’s We’re Open campaign. This current generation in Ireland is incredibly inclusive and welcoming. It’s important to celebrate and champion such inclusivity,” said Panti Bliss.
“Inclusivity is such an important topic today and Smirnoff believes in the power of popular culture to bring people together,” said Karen O’Shea, Marketing Manager, Smirnoff. “It’s a real privilege to work with Panti Bliss on this campaign as she communicates the challenges and joys of living in Ireland at a time when inclusivity is part of our everyday agenda.”
Smirnoff is the world’s number-one selling vodka and is enjoyed in 130 countries around the world.
