Teeling Whiskey’s Global Brand Ambassador, Kevin Hurley has scooped the award for ‘Industry Legend of the Year’ at the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards. This year’s event took place on Sunday evening at the Sugar Club, Dublin.
As the 2016 recipient of this award, Hurley will now be inducted into the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards Hall of Fame.
Speaking about his award win, Hurley said: ‘I am extremely honoured to be recognised with this award by my peers in an industry that I am deeply committed to. These awards were established back in 2014 to celebrate the skill, training and artistry of Irish craft cocktail concoction and in the last three years, I am so proud of how far the industry has come in educating both bartenders and consumers globally on the merits of Irish mixology and how it stands out amongst the best in the world’.
Hurley was appointed Global Brand Ambassador of Ireland’s leading independent whiskey producer in 2015, having previously worked in the Irish drinks industry for over 15 years.

The Irish Craft Cocktail Awards takes place annually to recognize outstanding achievement in the cocktail industry.
