Tullamore D.E.W. was a big contributor to overall growth with global sales growing an impressive 9% in 2017, according to its owner William Grant & Sons latest financial results.
The global premium spirits business owner has reported profit growth of 12.6% to £250.2 million (€281.5 million) after tax for the year ended 31 December 2017.

"Our hugely successful Beauty of Blend ad campaign and our continuing commitment to innovation drove global growth for the brand.”
New Distillery
Tullamore D.E.W. invested €25 million into its distilling operation in 2017 with the opening of a new grain distillery and bottling plant at Tullamore.
This brings the total invested by William Grant & Sons in the Tullamore Distillery up to €100m, making it one of the largest employers in the area with a workforce of over 100.
In 2017, Tullamore D.E.W. parent company William Grant & Sons was named Distiller of the Year at the International Spirits Challenge.
Ireland is now a key base for William Grant & Sons globally; over 45 people are based in its global marketing office on Harcourt Street in Dublin.
