William Grant & Sons' Tullamore Dew has become the official Irish whiskey of Major League Baseball team the Boston Red Sox.
Reportedly, the three-year contact which was signed last week includes an in-park bar named the 'Tully Tavern' for games and special events that will serve Tullamore Dew.
Tully Tavern is inspired by 'the look and feel' of the whiskey brand's Co.Offaly distillery.
Financial details were not included in William Grant's announcement, according to Just-drinks.com
Tullamore Dew's latest US activation follows a collaboration with Time Out North America on the nation-wide 'Dew and a Brew' tour. The campaign launched late last year to 'highlight the traditional consumption of Irish whiskey alongside beer'.
The first pitch of the season commenced this week.
