West Coast Cooler launched a new advertising campaign with Ogilvy earlier this month. The aim of the #ThisIsMe campaign is to rejuvenate the brand in order to reconnect with young women in Ireland.
Niamh O’Kennedy, Director at Ogilvy commented on the campaign: "The ‘This is Me’ campaign celebrates both the wonderful traits that make young women so unique and also the ingredients that make West Coast Cooler such a great product. We want young women to be inspired by their individualism and recognize that West Coast Cooler as a brand represents and celebrates this."
The campaign was launched with a video rolled out across digital and social channels. Out-Of-Home 6-sheets and Metropoles were placed throughout Dublin, encouraging the target audience to ‘Shazam’ any of these posters, directing them to the #ThisIsMe video. During the Dublin Fashion Festival, West Coast Cooler provided a €2,000 bursary to the winner of the ‘Young Designer of the Year’ award, and was represented by model Louise O’Reilly who acted as brand ambassador.
Catherine Casserly, Marketing Director, Ireland at Irish Distillers Limited said: "The new brand platform for West Coast Cooler seeks to represent the essence of what is important to young females today. They are highly accomplished, and they are all proud of their individuality. 'This Is Me' is a celebration of these women. West Coast Cooler is an Irish brand that has stood the test of time, and is proud to launch a great new campaign based on being true to who you are."
