County Down based food producer Clandeboye Estate Yoghurt has agreed to supply their Greek style yoghurt to 87 Costa stores across Ireland.
The Clandeboye Estate Greek Yoghurt will be added as part of Costa's new breakfast menu in a deal estimated to be worth £100,000 annually (€125,912).
The Clandeboye Estate brand is the brainchild of the Estate’s owner Lady Dufferin, the Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava. The traditional products are made from the milk of her prize-winning herd of Holstein and Jersey cows.
Speaking at the launch of the new yoghurts, Costa Coffee Ireland product manager Deirdre Sloan said, “At Costa, we are continuously on the look-out for locally sourced produce to enhance our quality food offering. We tasted and tested lots of Greek style yoghurts and Clandeboye Estate was a clear favourite with the team."
