Ornua, owner of Kerrygold has announced that it has has kicked off its search for the organisation’s 'next generation of leaders' through its 2021 Graduate Programme.
Headquartered in Dublin, Ornua is Ireland’s largest exporter of Irish dairy products.
The programme seeks 13 qualified applicants for roles across business functions – from procurement to marketing and from ICT to sales – in seven countries and four continents, the company said.
Eight of the 13 positions will be based away from the co-op’s Dublin headquarters, in countries such as Germany, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain and the U.S. (Chicago).
Majella Darcy, chief people officer, Ornua commented: “This is a wonderful opportunity for 13 talented and ambitious graduates to begin exciting and fulfilling careers here at Ornua."
About The Programme
The Ornua Graduate Programme is an 18-month programme which offers graduates a chance to build a range of business skills and gain valuable experience in one of Ireland’s most exciting businesses, the diary giant added.
Ornua noted that several of the co-op’s current senior leaders entered the business through the programme.
"Working at Ornua means bringing the taste of Ireland’s unique grass-fed milk to the world and delivering value for the farming families that produce it," Darcy added.
Candidates on the Ornua Graduate Programme will receive formal training and will be individually mentored by a member of Ornua’s senior management team.
The closing date applications is 23 October 2020 with successful applicants taking up their position in Autumn of 2021.
