Love Irish Food Launches 'Masters of Their Art' Series

Love Irish Food has launched its ‘Masters of Their Art’ series in association with the Irish Independent; a nationwide search among its brands to find four ‘Masters of Their Art’.

With the loss of some traditional food production industries, often requiring unique craftsmanship, the initiative looks to find and celebrate those using specialist skills, recipes and methods to build Irish food and drink brands.

After the judging is complete, each of the four finalists will be profiled in the Irish Independent’s Weekend magazine. The judging panel will then select the overall winner, who will be awarded a Love Irish Food commemorative and personalised sculpture.

Kieran Rumley, executive director of Love Irish Food commented on the campaign, “The Love Irish Food Masters of Their Art initiative, which is the first of its kind in Ireland, encourages all Love Irish Food member brands to enter, whether members possess a true understanding of their craft or a passion for keeping unique production skills alive.

“We want to work with our valued member brands to help identify, nurture and support those individuals in possession of a unique set of skills. We want to recognise some of the unsung heroes of the Irish food & drink industry,” he added.
