AB Agri has announced the appointment of a new managing director to its dairy business in the UK and Ireland.
The role was appointed to David Williams, who was recently the chief executive of Omsco Ltd, on 20 February.
Wiliams also has executive experience across the dairy industry in the UK and Europe. He previously worked as part of the Arla group.
AB Agri has supported farmers over the past 30 years and aims to improve feed production.
The company’s goal is to ensure that nutritious and affordable food is produced safely and responsibly.
The company provides data insight and technological innovations to its customers. This enables them to produce and process high-yielding safe and nutritious food.
Speaking about his appointment, Williams said, “I am delighted to take up this new opportunity at an exciting time for the development of our businesses here in the UK and Ireland.”
He continued, “I will continue to help drive and support the incredible hard work and successes our teams and businesses are demonstrating every day, as well as overseeing ongoing investments and developments, all geared towards providing responsible solutions for a sustainable and profitable future for farmers.”
The chief executive of AB Agri, José Nobre, welcomed the appointment of Williams.
