Bord Bia has announced its latest mission to encourage the nation to broaden their culinary horizons and eat more quality assured pork.
The state agency is looking to showcase how pork is packed full of flavour, versatile, high in protein and great value.
#PorkNight Challenge
The Irish food board is calling for people to take on its #PorkNight Challenge, which will run from Monday, 27 August and running until Sunday, 9 September.
On any given night, people will be asked to go beyond their usual recipe repertoire and try something new, with pork as the central ingredient.
The group has prepared a hand full of easy-to-prepare recipes that centre around pork available on its website.
The group said that it will collaborate with popular food bloggers who will look to take part in the campaign and encourage the versatility of pork.
