Six Irish food and drink companies have set their sights on breaking into the €102 billion Scandinavian market through the Access 6 export scheme. The companies include Derrycamma Rapeseed Oil, Ferdia Fine Foods, Gallaghers Bakery, Nutri Snax, Rangeland Foods, and Shalvey Poultry.
Access 6 Scandanavia is a €2.2 million EU fund which is assisting companies export efforts in Scandanavia and offers support to food and drink companies in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Western Scotland. The programme includes a mentorship and training programme, as well as a study tour of the region.
The programme is being led by the Irish Exporters Association, Northern Ireland Food & Drink and Scotland Food & Drink. The Access 6 programme was launched last week at the Irish embassy in Stockholm.
