Tipperary Food Producers Network will bring a pop-up food boutique to Avoca, Rathcoole from the 1stto the 10th May.
The ten-day event will feature a specially chosen range of products, showcasing the high quality ingredients and culinary talent that has put Tipperary on the map as one of Ireland’s top food destinations.
Avoca’s The Egg Café will also feature a special Taste of Tipperary Menu, presenting diners with a selection of the county’s finest fare.
Over the last year, members of the Tipperary Food Producers Network have won 16 Great Taste Awards, which are organised by the Guild of Fine Food and acknowledged as a benchmark for specialty food and drinks.
Tipperary Food Producers is a community that works together to promote Tipperary as a centre of excellence for food production and to foster the highest standards of taste and quality, while maintaining a strong focus on innovation.
It is supported by Tipperary County Council and Tipperary Local Enterprise Office, as well as South Tipperary Development Company and North Tipperary LEADER Partnership Company, who work with group members to create develop the local food industry.
Mairead English-Maher from Local Enterprise Office Tipperary commented at the event launch, “Tipperary Food Producers Network is an excellent example of businesses coming together to share their unique knowledge and experience to open up new opportunities for a whole region.”
“The network brings together a range of businesses that represent almost every aspect of the Tipperary food and drinks sector. Each member brings their own perspective and a wealth of experience to the community,” she added.
