Snack-food giant Largo Foods has confirmed that Jeff Swan has been appointed managing director.
Swan joins from KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack Group, where he held the role of marketing director.
He previously held senior positions with some of the world’s leading branded FMCG companies, including Coca-Cola and Cadbury Mondelez.
Swan will work closely with the existing management team with a view to directing Largo Foods in the next stage of its development.
CEO Steps Down
In January Maurice Hickey, chief executive of Largo Foods, informed the board of his intention to step down, after 11 successful years with the company, with a view to pursuing other interests.
'During his time as chief executive, Hickey led the integration of the Tayto acquisition and the streamlining of the Largo Foods business, to its current position as the leading snack-food company in Ireland,' the firm said in a statement.
