Ireland’s love affair with gin shows no signs of slowing down, and Aldi has attempted to bring a festive flavour to the market with it’s newly announced Gingerbread Gin Liqueur.
Selling at €14.99, the new Gin will be available from 1st October, as the build-up to Christmas begins.

“Gin continues to be immensely popular amongst our shoppers, so we’re delighted to be offering this Gingerbread Gin Liqueur, just in time for the festive season,” said John Curtin, group buying director.
“At Aldi, we pride ourselves on innovation, and the launch of these exciting new products is a real testament to the hard work of our buying team, who work incredibly closely with suppliers to bring great-value, quality spirits to our shelves.”
The liqueur, the German-based discount chain said, is characterised by warming notes of ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and orange, and is best enjoyed with a splash of tonic water or simply served neat over ice.
Aldi said that the innovative alternative to traditional festive drinks is expected to be a big hit with Irish shoppers.
“The gin bubble is yet to burst, and it’s fantastic that consumers can turn to Aldi for award-winning, great quality bottles that won’t break the bank,” added Tom Doorley, Aldi’s wine expert.
“The brand new Gingerbread Gin Liqueur is not only delicious, but it’s a brand new festive tipple, that is sure to delight gin lovers this Christmas season!”
